Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Plain language, no surprises.

This Privacy Policy explains how Sunora collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Service. We aim for the smallest data footprint that still lets the Service work well for you.

1. Information we collect

  • Account info: email address, display name, optional avatar.
  • Planner content: widgets you place, settings you choose, data you enter (tasks, habits, notes, etc.).
  • Usage data: aggregate metrics like which features get used, error reports, and performance signals - never the contents of your widgets.
  • Billing info: only if you subscribe to a paid plan, and processed by our payment provider - we never see full card numbers.

2. How we use information

We use your information to operate the Service, sync your planners across devices, send essential transactional emails (account changes, billing receipts, security notices), and improve performance and reliability. We never sell your data and we do not use planner content to train third-party AI models.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Optional analytics use anonymized event data to help us understand which features matter - you can opt out at any time from your account settings.

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers we use to run Sunora (hosting, email, payments) and only the minimum each one needs. We do not sell or rent personal information to advertisers. We may disclose data when required by law or to protect users from imminent harm.

5. Your rights and choices

  • Export everything you have created as JSON from your account settings.
  • Delete your account at any time - content is removed within 30 days from active systems.
  • Opt out of optional analytics and marketing emails independently.
  • Request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your personal data - write to privacy@sunora.ink.

6. Security

We use encrypted connections (TLS) for all traffic and encrypt stored data at rest. Access to production systems is limited and audited. No system is perfectly secure, so we run regular reviews and welcome responsible-disclosure reports at security@sunora.ink.

7. Children

Sunora is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child below that age without verified parental consent, we delete it.

8. Changes

When we update this Policy in a way that materially affects your privacy we notify you in advance and update the effective date at the top of this page.
